Just replaced the alternator in my car and it stalled a few times since then.?

if your alternator was the problem after the car stalled you would have had a trouble starting it your car will run on the charge that has built up in the battery after that's gone if the alternator is bad the car will not start. it sounds more like a problem with the fuel filter or along that line. And no it will not hurt the alternator to get it wet
