Desperate times in African nation of Zimbabwe! Inflation! Poverty! Disease! Does this concern you?

Yes, it is very sad to see these kinds of situations happening worldwide. I do feel very sorry for all of those people. However, did you know that the Bible predicted these types of events thousands of years ago? For example, it shows that these are signs of things to come,and what will happen to those in poverty, etc. If you have a bible, then I invite you to open it up to Psalms 9:18 where it says, "For not always will the poor one be forgotten, Nor will the hope of the meek ones ever perish. Psalms 69: 33 (the first part), "For Jehovah* is listening to the poor ones." (* Psalms 83:18 says that God's name is Jehovah). Anyway, this shows how God does care and is conscerned for those in less fortunate situations. Here is something interesting to read about in your Bible. The apostles asked Jesus what "the sign of [his] presence and of the conclusion of the system of things" was in Matthew 24:3. If you read further down, it says in Matthew 24:6-8 "You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. All these things are a beginnings of pangs of distress." Isn't this what we hear about so much in the news nowadays? Suffering, fighting, hunger, death, and natural disasters everywhere? Many times we ask ourselves, Is there any hope? According to the Bible, there is: Revelation 21:4 , "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have ped away." This will happen when Jesus will bring the new system of things and the whole Earth will be turned into a paradise. Everyone will be perfect and no one will ever have to grow old or die. This is going to happen very soon.
