Sounds like you are both a little shy. Pluck up the courage and ask him out. Go to lunch, dinner or a movie and see what happens. Don't talk about other girls or guys, and at some point, make your move and tell him that you think you might be more than friends. If he likes you it will be fine, but if on the off chance he doesn't want to pursue something, well at least you wont waste any more time.
